Fishing during the spawning season

Poachers are attracted by spawning fish, as it is much easier to catch them in this state. Meanwhile, from April 1 to May 30, the catching of all types of fish is prohibited. As an exception, amateur fishing is allowed, permitting fishing with a float rod or a single spinning rod with an artificial lure with a single, double, or treble hook of size No. 1 or smaller. Such fishing is permitted only from the shore and during daylight hours.

During the spawning period, small vessels with outboard engines are prohibited.
