From 06 to 11 July, the State Automobile Inspectorate (GAI) will be conducting preventive measures aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists.

With the onset of favourable weather conditions, traffic intensity traditionally increases, including on the days preceding and during weekends.

The number of motorcycles significantly increases on streets and roads, as well as the number of road users travelling by bicycles, scooters, segways, electric scooters, etc.

To prevent accidents involving the aforementioned categories of road users, employees of the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Vitebsk region will patrol public roads daily, as well as areas adjacent to mass recreation sites. This measure is intended to monitor the safe movement of individuals using personal mobility devices. Traffic police inspectors will also conduct preventive discussions, explaining the provisions of the Traffic Regulations.
