technologies and developments, man-made accidents are occurring with increasing
frequency worldwide. In such emergency situations, there is a specific algorithm
of actions that every person needs to know. As part of the republican campaign
“Safety Day. Attention Everyone!”, which started on March 1,
MChS propagandists are teaching how to behave correctly in case of an emergency,
as well as how to act properly upon the “Attention Everyone!” signal.
From March 1 to 11, the
first stage of the campaign was held for students of general education
institutions. School students worked with propaganda officers on evacuation
plans and were informed about actions upon the “Attention Everyone!” signal.
Propagandists conducted interactive safety classes, a quest, and online games in
a playful manner: “Fire Laboratory,” “Emergency Situation,” “Steps to
Salvation.” MChS officers also talked with high school students about their
future university choices and told the students about the rescuer profession.
For the effectiveness of career guidance work, students watched thematic videos
and received visual aids.
The second stage of the campaign,
which will take place from March 14 to 18, will be aimed at dormitory residents,
workplaces, and residents of rural settlements.
It is important for the Ministry of Emergency Situations propagandists to engage the audience as much as possible and to hear the public's personal reasoning on safety. Thus, a new interactive project from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, "Safety Factors," will make people think about the causes of fires and provide an opportunity for citizens themselves to find and list the factors in photos that contribute to fires.
In addition to such
audience interaction, popular formats will be used: "Safety Secret," "Safety Factors," "Fire Laboratory," and the online game "Steps to Salvation."
For residents of rural
settlements, a program dedicated to Civil Defence Day will be prepared. Events titled "Skarbonka byaspeki" will be held with the public in open areas. Safety festivals will be complemented by demonstrations of experiments from the "Fire Laboratory." Activists from district branches of the Belarusian Youth Public Association for Rescuers and Firefighters and representatives of other interested organizations will assist rescuers in conducting the campaign, so that
by joining forces, to effectively communicate safety rules to people.
Participate in events organized by rescuers! After all, adherence to basic fire safety rules is the key to your well-being.
