Statistics show that fires are most often caused by citizens' ignorance or disregard for fire safety regulations.
Statistics show that fires are most often caused by ignorance or disregard for fire safety regulations. The past year has shown that careless handling of fire, violations of the rules for the installation and operation of stove heating, and violations of safety rules when operating electrical equipment continue to hold leading positions among the causes of fires. It should be understood that fatalities are not always avoidable.
To draw attention to the problem of fires and deaths caused by them once again, rescuers will carry out a series of preventive measures during the campaign.
The campaign will be held in 2 stages.
The first stage involves work with large families and families where children are in a socially dangerous situation, and will take place from February 1 to February 14. During this stage, visits to the households of the aforementioned categories are planned, with preventive and explanatory conversations with parents, interactive sessions with all family members on observing safety rules at home, when operating stove heating and electrical equipment, and on the dangers of leaving children unattended.
From February 15 to February 23, the second stage of the campaign will take place, covering retail outlets, dormitories of enterprises and organisations, and places with mass gatherings of people. Here, rescuers will set up training areas to remind the residents of Lepel region about safety rules once again, and will also hold thematic quizzes and competitions.
We invite everyone who cares about their own safety to participate in the campaign!
