From 10 to 12 October, officers of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs conducted two preventive events, "Safe Region" and "Region," on the territory of the Lepel District, aimed at preventing all categories of road traffic accidents.

During the events, two drivers were identified who were operating vehicles without a valid driving license.

The drivers have been brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Article 18.14 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus. The passenger of one of the vehicles was also brought to administrative responsibility for handing over control of the vehicle to a driver who did not have the right to drive a vehicle. The vehicles have been placed in a secure parking lot.

A mixed-control operation was conducted on the Minsk-Vitebsk highway, during which 12 speeding violations were detected. In total, from October 10 to 12, 98 traffic violations were detected, 35 of which were committed by vulnerable road users.
