The campaign aims to promote the purity of native speech, enhance communication culture in society, and strengthen traditional family values through the rejection of profanity.

From May 11 to 15, the campaign "My Family and I – Without Profanity" is taking place across the Republic of Belarus. The campaign's goal is to promote the purity of native speech, enhance communication culture in society, and strengthen traditional family values through the rejection of profanity.

Profanity damages mental and physical health, and also affects the environment.

"Purity of speech" begins with communication within the family, fostering a healthy atmosphere for children.

The richness of language and the importance of kind words.

The campaign emphasizes that the fight against profanity is not about prohibition, but about cultivating speech culture and making a conscious choice.

Recommendations on how to reduce the use of profanity in the family:

Watch your words. Try to notice moments when you tend to use rude expressions. Replace them with neutral or kind words.

Pause before speaking in a conflict. A few seconds of silence will help you calm down and choose the right words.

Learn to express your feelings without reproaches or accusations. For example, say: "I feel uncomfortable when..." instead of harsh phrases.

Discuss the importance of kind communication with family members. Support from loved ones will help change habits more easily.

Create small family rules stating that swearing is not acceptable. This will help everyone be more mindful of their words.

Replace negative words with funny or neutral expressions to relieve tension without harm.

Encourage kind words and compliments within the family. This creates a friendly atmosphere and strengthens relationships.
