One of the main causes of fires remains the failure of citizens to comply with fire safety regulations due to carelessness or ignorance, but the outcome is always the same.
With the aim of preventing such fires, as well as increasing public awareness in the field of fire safety, strengthening law and order, and preventing offences committed by citizens in a state of alcoholic intoxication, from 14 to 30 October 2024, the republican campaign "For Safety Together" will be held in the city of Vitebsk.
Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Energy, as well as the Belarusian Voluntary Fire Society, will take part in the preventive measures.
Traditionally, prevention entities will primarily focus on families with children in a socially dangerous situation, lonely and single elderly citizens, disabled persons, citizens using their homes for drinking alcoholic beverages, individuals leading an anti-social lifestyle, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, and other socially vulnerable categories of citizens.
