Last year, 202 child passengers were injured in road traffic accidents, 14 of them died. At the same time, every second minor was transported in violation of established rules. Already in January of the current year, 17 young passengers were injured in road accidents.
Traffic police officers will strengthen control over drivers' compliance with the rules for the safe transportation of children by private vehicles, as well as by school and irregular route buses.Inspectors will be on duty in high-traffic areas of roads, near educational institutions.

children must be transported in a car using restraint devices that correspond to their weight and height.
Young passengers who have reached the age of 12, or whose height exceeds 150 centimeters, can be transported without a car seat or booster, but must be fastened with a seat belt.
