From January 19 to 25, a preventive campaign "Cybersecurity Week" is being held in the territory of Vitebsk and the Vitebsk region, aimed at preventing cybercrimes.

Between January 7 and 15 alone, 11 citizens in the northern region reported being victims of serious cybercrimes.

The amount of damage caused exceeded 150 thousand rubles.

During the campaign, law enforcement officers will visit educational institutions, work collectives of enterprises and organizations, where they will talk about the main types of cybercrimes and fraud. Police officers will provide practical advice on how not to fall for the tricks of criminals and not to become victims of such crimes.
