From February 20 to March 1, the "Unified Safety Day" campaign will be held in Lepel District.

Targeted preventive measures will be held these days to prevent emergencies, offenses, and crimes, as well as to train on rules of conduct in various emergency situations and on providing first aid.

As part of the campaign, drills and exercises will be conducted to respond to natural and man-made emergencies at explosion-hazardous, fire-hazardous, chemically hazardous facilities, and facilities with mass gatherings of people. Inspections of the alert system, including via SMS, and the broadcasting of messages on television and radio are planned. Various institutions will practice safe evacuation from their buildings.

As part of the "Unified Safety Day," quests, intellectual games, and educational platforms will be organised, along with contests, themed concert programmes, and theatrical performances. Open days will be held in the structural divisions of various departments.

In addition to state administration bodies (General Prosecutor's Office, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, Ministry of Culture) and local authorities, various organisations and public associations will participate in the campaign: the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, the Belarusian Fire Safety Society, the Belarusian Red Cross Society, the Belarusian Society for the Rescue of Persons on Water (OSVOD), the Belarusian Patriotic Youth Union (BRSM), and the public association "Belaya Rus".

The objectives of the "Unified Safety Day" are to jointly foster a culture of life safety in society and to conduct educational and upbringing work with the younger generation. It is envisaged that the "Unified Safety Day" will be held in the country twice a year: in February and September.
