From 20 May to 19 June 2021, raid operations will be conducted across the Vitebsk region to monitor compliance with the Road Traffic Regulations.

An analysis of the traffic situation in the region indicates that violations of the Traffic Regulations by individual taxi and bus drivers, as well as the requirements of other regulatory legal acts governing passenger road transport operations in regular and irregular services, continue to occur.

Considering the need to take effective measures to stabilize the situation related to ensuring road traffic safety, from May 20 to June 19, 2021, raid activities will be carried out on the territory of the Vitebsk region to control taxi drivers' compliance with the Traffic Regulations when participating in road traffic. This includes checking for the presence of a permit for participation in road traffic, drivers' entitlement to operate vehicles, and other requirements of the legislation in the field of road traffic safety.
