From November 20 to 30, the State Automobile Inspectorate will conduct the preventive event "STATE TECHNICAL INSPECTION". Traffic police officers will check vehicles for their eligibility to participate in road traffic. The main goal of the event is to draw the attention of vehicle owners to maintaining their vehicles in proper technical condition.

According to the Code of Administrative Offences, driving a vehicle without a permit for its participation in road traffic is punishable by a warning or a fine ranging from 1 to 3 base units. If such an offence is repeated within a year, a fine ranging from 2 to 5 base units shall be imposed.
