From 21 to 27 June, the State Automobile Inspectorate (GAI) will be conducting preventive measures aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists.

With the onset of favorable weather conditions, the intensity of traffic flow traditionally increases, including on the days preceding and during weekends. The number of motorcycles, as well as road users travelling on bicycles, scooters, segways, electric scooters, etc., significantly increases on streets and roads.

To prevent accidents involving the aforementioned categories of road users, employees of the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Vitebsk region will patrol public roads daily, as well as areas adjacent to places of mass recreation. This measure is intended to monitor the safe movement of individuals using personal mobility devices. Traffic police inspectors will also conduct preventive discussions, explaining the provisions of the Traffic Regulations.
