From 24 to 28 September 2020, targeted measures are being carried out to prevent road traffic accidents involving pedestrians and cyclists.

With the aim of strengthening discipline among road users, fostering mutual courtesy between road users, enhancing safety, and preventing road traffic accidents involving pedestrians and cyclists, the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Vitebsk region will conduct targeted preventive measures against road traffic accidents involving vulnerable road users from 24 to 28 September 2020.

The road is a place of increased danger for all categories of road users without exception. However, there are vulnerable categories – pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers of freight transport.

The preventive measures are intended to once again draw the attention of the aforementioned categories of road users to the necessity of strictly observing the rules of safe behaviour on the road.
