From 7 to 19 June, a preventive measure will be carried out concerning the transportation of passengers by minibuses on regular routes.

In January-May 2024, 31 registered road traffic accidents involving minibuses occurred, resulting in 52 individuals sustaining bodily injuries of varying severity, with no fatalities. On June 4, 2024, at 15:00, within the Bobruisk district, 8 passengers of a route minibus were injured as a result of one accident.

For reference: a MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER minibus driver, carrying 16 passengers on the "Minsk-Rechitsa" route, on the 19th km of the R-31 "Bobruisk-Mozyr-Ukraine border" highway, collided with an MTZ tractor performing a left turn. Based on the foregoing, in order to enhance road traffic safety, prevent and reduce the severity of consequences of road traffic accidents involving route minibuses, as well as to prevent violations committed by drivers of such transport, a preventive measure concerning passenger transportation by minibuses in regular service will be carried out from June 7 to June 19, 2024.

Employees of the traffic police department of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs will carry out daily monitoring of compliance by drivers of route

minibuses with the Traffic Regulations, as well as the Passenger Transportation Regulations regarding the fulfillment of safety requirements.
