Dear Residents of Lepel! We sincerely congratulate you on the anniversary of the October Revolution.
More than a century has passed since the events of the Great October, and its ideals remain relevant and significant.For our country, this is a momentous date. Regardless of various modern assessments, this historical event brought to life such fundamental principles as the right of nations to self-determination, respect for working people, and social justice.
Over the century following 1917, the Belarusian people created a strong economic foundation, which became one of the cornerstones of sustainable progress. This holiday is a symbol of life transformation, a remembrance of the enthusiasm of major construction projects, and a tribute to the courage of those who defended the Motherland, who believed in a bright future, and who performed heroic deeds in the name of an idea.
The vast majority of the Earth's population strives for social justice, yet many countries still face modern forms of exploitation and oppression, cultural expansion, economic sanctions, and political blackmail.
Therefore, we must not forget that the October Revolution opened a new chapter in our national history, serving as an impetus for the development of Belarusian statehood. Having overcome numerous trials in the challenging twentieth century and unlocking the potential for creativity and creation, Belarusians have taken a worthy place in the global community of nations.
Today, independent Belarus is proud of its socially oriented economy, effective system of public administration, and developed education, science, medicine, and culture. The Republic continues to confidently advance on the path of progress, achieving ever-new successes in building a society where the individual has always been and remains the central figure. Our Lepel region makes a significant contribution to solving this crucial nationwide task.
We are convinced that by knowing our past, defending historical truth, and respecting and multiplying the achievements of previous generations, we are creating a peaceful future for our children and grandchildren.
On this festive day, we wish all residents of the district good health, optimism, well-being, and new labour achievements. May sincere love for the Motherland give you strength and energy, inspiring you to new accomplishments for the sake of beloved Belarus.
