On March 6, on the eve of International Women's Day, employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, together with an employee of the territorial center for social services for the population and a representative of the Military Commissariat, with special reverence and respect, congratulated women veterans of the Great Patriotic War on the spring holiday – March 8!

Representatives of various services and departments visited the veterans not empty-handed. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations presented all women veterans with flowers and sweet gifts, spoke kind words and congratulations, and also installed autonomous fire detectors. The veterans could not hide their happy smiles, as well as tears of joy and gratitude for not being forgotten and for always finding time for pleasant communication, which is so necessary for the elderly!

And after sincere words of gratitude and congratulations, over a cup of tea, the veterans shared stories with their guests about the war and the events of their lives, as well as about the hard work of women, girls, and even children during the Great Patriotic War.

We would like to once again express our words of gratitude and admiration, and at the same time respect and appreciation. A deep bow to the respected women veterans, participants of the war. Thank you for your work, for the generosity of your hearts! We wish you and your loved ones good health, happiness, and well-being.
