With the arrival of spring, the regional State Automobile Inspectorate has intensified control over agricultural machinery of enterprises and organizations of the agro-industrial complex.
State traffic inspectors are conducting informational and explanatory work in agricultural organizations, checking the readiness of machinery for field work, monitoring the timely completion of state technical inspections, and verifying the completeness of machinery with components and assemblies that affect safe operation on public roads. Furthermore, the serviceability of external lighting devices, as provided for by the design of trailed units and mounted equipment, is being monitored.
The physical condition of drivers and the provision of agricultural workers with workwear incorporating retroreflective elements also receive the attention of the State Traffic Inspectorate. These factors not only influence the progress of sowing and the future harvest but also the safety of all road users without exception.
