An exhibition with this title has opened the "White Cane User" month. It took place in the library's reading room, where participants of the district organization of the Belarusian Association of the Visually Impaired (BelTIZ) presented their works.
-- The aim of the exhibition is to show that visually impaired people do not live in isolation, but engage in creative activities that not everyone with sight can master, -- noted the chairperson of the organization, Olga Sokolovskaya.
Valentina Kisel showcased nature seen through the lens of a camera in her photographs. She also surprised visitors with woven belts. Beads flowers by Nadezhda Shaitor and Dmitry Gavrushin also found their place. And paintings depicting neatly embroidered horses proved that their author, Elena Zhernosek, is a skilled craftswoman. Sergey Martynovich spoke about his woodworking process using blanks made on a homemade lathe. Examples of his work, such as flower stands and a coffee table, could be seen right there. He also captured domestic pets and autumn landscapes in his photographs.
