The youngest member of the Vitebsk region delegation at the republican festival-fair of agricultural workers "Dazhynki-2012" is only five years old, the Committee for Agriculture and Food of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee told a BELTA correspondent. Among the distinguished and respected agrarians is the name of five-year-old Nastya Lukyanenok. Together with her nine-year-old brother Sergey, mother Svetlana and father Dmitry, the girl will go to the grand celebration. The Lukyanenok family from the Gluboksky district became the winner of the regional competition of the family agricultural project "Master of the Village" and will take part in the final of the project, which will be held at "Dazhynki-2012". The Vitebsk region delegation includes one hundred people. These are combine operators, drivers, heads of farms, districts, cities and enterprises that provided significant patronage to farmers. The winners of the republican competition for the harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in 2012 among districts was Verkhnedvinsk, among agricultural organizations - OJSC "Rudakovo" of the Vitebsk region, among combine operators - Vladimir Lavtsevich from OJSC "Dokshitsky Rayagropromservis", who threshed 2.8 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops this season. The winner in the nomination "Land use of high farming culture, improvement of machine yards, livestock farms and complexes" was the Orsha district. Vitebsk region agrarians threshed almost 1.4 million tons of grain this year - the highest indicator in the last 36 years.
