According to the Forest Code, the permit document for citizens to procure timber in small quantities is an order. With it, up to 50 cubic meters of timber can be procured, but no more. To obtain an order, one must apply to the forestry. They will explain which plot and which trees should be felled. The order must be kept on hand during felling. It also serves as the necessary document for the removal of timber products. The procured timber can only be removed after it has been measured by a forestry official and marked by them in the relevant sections of the order.
The fee for self-procured firewood timber is generally small. Meanwhile, the fine for felling trees without a permit document can reach 30 basic units in commercial forests and 50 basic units in conservation, recreational, and protective forests.
