Today, Inspector of the Propaganda and Public Relations Sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, Tatsiana Fedarovich, conducted a training event "Wisdom. Experience. Safety" for senior citizens and people with disabilities.

Attendees learned that forgotten food on the stove is a common cause of fires. They understood that electrical appliances have a limited service life and it is unsafe to leave them on standby, and charging phones overnight is hazardous.

Archpriest Sergiy Leshkevich, dean of the Lepel district, also visited the social rehabilitation and habilitation department for persons with disabilities of the Lepel District Territorial Centre for Social Services.

Father Sergiy spoke about the holiday celebrated by the Orthodox Church today – the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, its origin, meaning, and significance for every Christian. Afterwards, everyone watched the allegorical cartoon "Your Cross".

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere, and each participant took away important knowledge and a good mood.
