The military unit stationed in the village of Zaslonovo today became the venue for the large-scale preventive sports event "Together We Are United".

The event brought together over 150 minors, including those registered with the inspectorate and commissions for juvenile affairs.

First Secretary of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM Youth Union Zhanna Naritsyna, Head of the Ideological Work and Youth Affairs Department of the District Executive Committee Svetlana Sheveleva, and Deputy Commander for Ideological Work – Head of the Ideological Work Department of the Zaslonovo Garrison Mechanized Brigade Mikhail Sadykov addressed the participants with welcoming remarks.

They wished the teenagers to go through all the challenges with dignity, and most importantly, to be one team and make friends with peers from other districts.

Participants underwent serious challenges that tested their strength, agility, and team spirit. The program included a militarized relay race with a weighted run, disassembly and assembly of a Kalashnikov rifle, first aid provision, and "wounded" soldier transport.

Teenagers also demonstrated their physical fitness in a complex of strength exercises: pull-ups, push-ups, torso raises, and tug-of-war.

The regional sports event was vibrant and emotional. The young people demonstrated their ability to work in a team, striving to perform at their best in each stage. A spirit of healthy competition prevailed throughout the event.

As a result of the hard-fought competition, the leaders were determined: the 1st place was taken by participants from Liozno, the 2nd place by the team from Postavy, and the 3rd position was occupied by participants from Dubroŭna.

As noted by the First Secretary of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM Youth Union Zhanna Naritsyna:

— The main outcome of the sports event was that the teenagers participated actively, with sporting enthusiasm, gained a lot of positive emotions, once again proving that sports are much more interesting for young people than bad habits.
