Today, a meeting took place between the staff of the "Lepel" railway station of the Minsk branch of Belarusian Railways and the information and propaganda group of the district executive committee, headed by the Deputy Chairman of the district executive committee, Nikolai Latyshev.

The main theme is Education and Science – the driving forces of the development of society and the state.

— It can be stated with absolute certainty that both education and science in our republic are among the priority areas of state policy. These issues are constantly given close attention at the highest level - starting with the Head of our state, who has repeatedly pointed out that it is people and their potential that are the main value of Belarus, — noted Nikolai Viktorovich.

The attendees were also familiarized with the education system in the Lepel district and the main projects being implemented in schools and kindergartens.

Traditionally, during the visit of government officials, the staff had the opportunity to raise the issues that concern them.
