The Chairperson of the Council of the Republic meets with participants and graduates of the "Future Team" leadership platform. This landmark, юбилейное event summarises the results of ten intakes of a unique project by the Youth Council, which has become a true school for young managers.
342 energetic and proactive young people from all over Belarus gathered in the hall. By the way, representatives from Lepel are also here. Daria Podyacheva, Viktor Latyshev, and Maria Kovler, members of the Youth Council under the Lepel District Council of Deputies, are participating in the event from our district.
A historic moment at the Republican Youth House: the anthem of the Youth Council under the Council of the Republic was heard for the first time. It was this proud and inspiring premiere that marked the beginning of the large-scale forum and open dialogue for the graduates of the "Future Team" leadership platform.
Natalia Kochanova: "Being a leader is not easy. Leadership qualities must always align with human qualities." - During an open dialogue at the Youth House, the Chairperson of the Council of the Republic shared her views on how true managers are made. - "A young person does not always fully understand if they have the makings of a leader. But if you are a kind person by nature, if you can love people, then you can become a leader. It is important to go through your professional path. The "Future Team" project is your help, an opportunity to discover yourself and see yourself from the outside. And you should engage in public work out of the goodness of your heart."
Participants of the "Future Team" proposed a bold idea to the Speaker – to involve young people (bloggers and students) in the information work of government bodies, in order to "translate" complex laws and regional news into short video formats (Reels, TikTok). And a chemistry teacher from Zhodino directly asked: will the Council of the Republic have its own TikTok account?
Natalia Kochanova's reaction was as open as possible:
"Information needs to be conveyed to young people quickly and clearly. The main thing is to protect the content from fakes and distortion by ill-wishers, as there is a lot of untruth online. As for TikTok for the Council of the Republic – my colleagues in the hall are hearing this, let's try to do it! People need to be shown informal, unexpected moments "from the field", live conversations that do not always make it to television."
