Today, a Unified Information Day on the theme "Day of National Unity: The Importance of Peace and Accord" was held at the "ATP No. 14" branch in Lepel of OJSC "Vitebskoblavtotrans". The speaker was Nikolai Latyshev, Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee.

During the meeting, he cited a number of facts about the origin of this holiday, noting that the Day of National Unity has a special meaning, as long as we are united, we are invincible.

In sovereign Belarus, the idea of establishing the Day of National Unity was first voiced at the highest level at the Sixth All-Belarusian People's Assembly, which was held under the slogan "Unity. Development. Independence."

Vadim Sedin, Senior State Traffic Inspector of the Traffic Police Department of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, focused on road safety, as well as on changes in the traffic rules. He also spoke about the need to remember the rules of digital hygiene. Cybercriminals are not sleeping, and deceived citizens often turn to the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs.
