Today, the district executive committee summed up the results of the Lepel district unit of the Vitebsk territorial subsystem of the State subsystem for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations and civil defense for 2024, and also outlined tasks for the coming year.

The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Nikolai Latyshev, and the Head of the District, Mikhail Kiselevich, participated in summing up the results.

It was noted that this work in the Lepel region was carried out in accordance with the main directions of state policy in the field of population and territory protection from emergency situations and civil defense.

Throughout the year, the services conducted tactical special exercises to practice actions according to specific scenarios, sanitary squads competitions were held, the readiness of organizations was studied, provision with civil defense means, and so on.

Having heard the information on the work of responsible persons, the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Mikhail Kiselevich, noted:

- All services must approach the fulfillment of assignments and tasks on issues of protection from emergency situations and civil defense with extreme seriousness. We will not allow formalism or delays in submitting reports. Executive discipline in this area will be under control.
