Under the leadership of the chairperson of the district organisation, Veronika Khombak, the chairpersons of the primary organisations of the Belarusian Women's Union (BWU) of Lepel District, members of the Lepel District Organisation and members of the industry-specific organisations of the public association gathered. Women entrepreneurs also took part in the meeting.

The participation of the members of the public association in the preparation and holding of the New Year's charity events "Our Children" and "From the Whole Heart", as well as the planning of events for 2026, were discussed.

Veronika Aleksandrovna also shared her impressions from visiting the House of the Belarusian Women's Union:

— The BWU House is a centre of attraction for women from all over Belarus. Cultural events, meetings with youth, legal consultations and other activities are held there. The impressions of this place are unforgettable.

This year has been bright and rich in events, actions and initiatives for the BWU members.

The secretary of the district organisation, Elena Serebro, presented a report in the form of a presentation on the results of the work for 2025, demonstrating that the Belarusian Women's Union unites energetic and responsive representatives of the fair sex.

The district organisation helps large families prepare for school, gives gifts for the New Year, encourages women workers, and participates in many district, regional and national events.

By the way, as of today, the Lepel District Organisation of the public association "Belarusian Women's Union" includes 31 primary organisations, comprising over 350 members.
