In June, the Supervision and Prevention Sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted an inspection of OJSC "Chereyshchina".

Supervisory measures have revealed that OJSC "Chereyshchina" is not fully complying with the requirements for ensuring safe evacuation in case of fire, and general fire safety requirements at the facility.

The following violations have been identified at OJSC "Chereyshchina":

- Employees responsible for the fire safety of the economic entity, who are tasked with conducting fire safety training, operating heat-generating equipment, responsible for the preparation and/or execution of hot work, whose professional activities (work by position) are related to the storage, movement, and use of flammable gases, highly flammable liquids, explosive dusts, flammable solids and materials, involved in harvesting grain crops, procurement and storage of coarse fodder, have not undergone training according to the fire-technical minimum programs, as defined in clause 15 of the "Instruction on the procedure for training employees on fire safety issues and verifying their knowledge in this area", approved by Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations No. 82 (clause 4.1 of the General Fire Safety Regulations);

-The buildings and premises of the Chereyshchina MTP (Milking Parlour), Babcha TF (Farming Unit), Zaborovye MTP, the dispatcher's office, the machine yard buildings, tractor "Belarus 892" registration number VV-2 7702, tractor "Belarus 1221V.2" registration number VV-2 1674, tractor "Belarus 3022 DC.1" registration number VA-2 7355, have not been fully equipped with primary fire extinguishing means in accordance with the annex to the Instruction on the norms for equipping facilities with primary fire extinguishing means, approved by Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations No. 82 (clause 53 of the General Fire Safety Regulations).

-Evacuation routes and emergency exits from the administrative building, and the buildings and premises of Babcha TF, Zaborovye TF have not been marked with fire safety signs as required by technical normative legal acts.

-The categories for explosion and fire hazard for all buildings and premises of the repair workshops, Babcha TF, Staroselye MTF, Zaborovye TF have not been determined in accordance with the criteria established by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

-The doors of the emergency exit on the ground floor of the administrative building, and the buildings of Zaborovye TF have not

equipped with locks that allow for free opening from the inside without a key (para. 48 OTPB);

- the operation of electrical lighting fixtures installed in the sheds of MTF "Chereyshchina", TF "Babcha", "Zaborovye" is not ensured in accordance with the operating documentation for them (protective caps, shades are missing)

The staff have been trained on the evacuation plan in case of fire or other emergency situations, as well as instructed on compliance with fire safety rules. During the monitoring, presentations were made to work collectives. 45 people were instructed.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Art. 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention measures in their respective organizations.
