In March, the Supervision and Prevention Sector of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted an inspection of SPF "Zaozerie".

During supervisory activities conducted, it was established that the SP "Zaozerie" does not fully comply with the requirements for ensuring safe evacuation in case of fire, and general requirements for ensuring fire safety at the facility.

The following violations were identified at SP "Zaozerie":

- The operational and proper condition of fire-fighting and fire extinguishing equipment is not ensured in the dry timber workshop of MTRK "Stary Lepel" (lack of pressure, fire extinguisher nozzle), on the territory of MTF "Zvezda" (fire extinguisher recharge expired), in calf shed No. 1 of MTRK "Yurkovshchina" (missing fire extinguisher nozzle), in calf shed of Yurkovshchina village (lower part) (lack of pressure in the fire extinguisher), at the fuel station of the machine yard (lack of pressure in the fire extinguisher), in the shed of MTF "Yurkovshchina", in the administrative building.

- The operational and proper condition of fire protection equipment (fire alarm system) is not ensured (technical maintenance is to be provided) in the buildings of MTRK "Yurkovshchina" and MTRK "Stary Lepel".

- Buildings of sheds of MTRK "Starye Lepel", buildings of sheds of "Zaozerie" farm, MTF "Voron", "Budevtsy" farm, buildings of sheds and calf shed No. 4 of MTRK "Yurkovshchina", buildings of calf sheds of Yurkovshchina village (lower part), building of the machine yard dispatch office, building of the machine yard warehouse, building of the machine yard tyre warehouse, buildings of sheds of MTF "Yurkovshchina" are not provided with the necessary quantity of primary fire extinguishing means.

- Locks on doors located on evacuation routes (external evacuation doors of MTRK "Stary Lepel" sheds, from MTF "Zvezda" buildings, from MTF "Yurkovshchina" buildings) are not ensured to be freely opened from the inside without a key.

- Evacuation exits from MTRK "Stary Lepel", from the shed buildings of "Zaozerie" farm, MTF "Voron", "Budevtsy" farm, from MTF "Zvezda" buildings, from the calf sheds of Yurkovshchina village (lower part), from MTF "Yurkovshchina", from the buildings of MTF "Starye Volosovichi" are not marked with fire safety signs.

- A plan for human evacuation in case of fire has not been developed for MTRK "Stary Lepel", MTF "Zvezda", MTRK "Yurkovshchina", and the administrative building in accordance with Appendix 2 of Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations No. 82.

- Training of employees has not been organised,

operating heat-generating units, according to the programs of fire-technical minimum, determined by the Ministry of Emergency Situations

- A general facility fire safety instruction, compliant with the requirements of Appendix 1 to the Resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations No. 82, has not been developed

Evacuation plans for fire or other emergency situations, as well as instructions on fire safety rules compliance, have been practiced with employees. During the monitoring, presentations were made to work collectives. 45 people were instructed.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 20 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire prevention regime in their respective organizations.
