Scammers appeal to pity, play on fear, and create a sense of urgency.
How to recognise them?- A call from an unknown number.
- They demand urgent actions: "transfer money", "provide the code from the SMS", "check your card".
- They threaten with problems at the bank, criminal liability, searches, seizure of funds.
- They promise unrealistic winnings and bonuses.
What to do?
The main rule is not to continue the conversation. Hang up immediately. This is not rudeness, but safety.
Talk to your relatives, especially the older generation, and explain this scheme to them.
Do not engage in dialogue, do not believe in haste, do not provide any data.
