Vitebsk Recognizes Top Volunteer Patrol Representatives

For conscientious performance of duties and participation in public order protection, 10 patrol members from across the region have been awarded a Letter of Gratitude from the Chairperson of the Regional Executive Committee.

Among them is a representative from Lepel district – Natalia Demko, a labour protection engineer and commander of the volunteer patrol of the Healthcare Institution "Lepel Central District Hospital".

The volunteer patrol of Lepel CDH is the largest in our district, comprising 20 members. Natalia Alekseevna has been its permanent commander for over 13 years.

"A sensitive, responsive, fair, decent, and dedicated person," is how the patrol members describe their commander.

The seminar summarized the work results and discussed how to improve joint efforts with the police.

The seminar was also attended by Oleg Avtukh, Head of the Public Order Protection Department of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, and Elena Serebro, Chief Specialist of the Ideological Work and Youth Affairs Department of the District Executive Committee and Secretary of the District Volunteer Patrol Headquarters.
