Today, the Lepel region welcomed participants of the regional seminar-meeting on the organisation of work for fertilising corn crops with a cultivator-planter and the possibility of its production in the shortest possible time.
About 50 people took part in the seminar, including representatives of the Committee for Agriculture and Food of the Regional Executive Committee, specialists from various districts responsible for mechanisation and crop production, and representatives of OJSC "Vitebsk Oblagroservis" and OJSC "Tiraspol Agrotechservice".
Participant registration took place in the hall of the District Executive Committee. Here, specialists could also enjoy ice cream from the "Lepel MKК" branch.
Next, the seminar participants moved to the "Daliki" tract of the unitary enterprise "Prozhektor-Agro", where they were introduced to the process of fertilising corn with inter-row cultivation. The specialists' attention was focused on a special unit that UP "Prozhektor-Agro" developed independently several years ago.
Such a device does not require significant financial investment and can be manufactured in a short period.
Its specific function is the simultaneous cultivation of inter-rows and the application of liquid fertilisers.
This experience of the Lepel agrarians should be adopted by specialists from other districts.
