A new chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Trade Union Association has been elected. Sergey Dogel became the new chairman. The II Plenum of the regional trade unions was attended by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolay Sherstnev, the President’s Aide – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich, and the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Mikhail Orda.

The II Plenum of the regional trade unions was attended by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolay Sherstnev, the President’s Aide – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich, and the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Mikhail Orda.
– On February 26, the Presidium of the Federation of Trade Unions considered the application of Ivan Vozmitel, taking into account his retirement, to be released from the position of chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Trade Union Association. The application was supported and granted, – stated Mikhail Orda. – Ivan Vozmitel was distinguished by his responsibility, integrity, and attentiveness.
Mikhail Orda presented Ivan Vozmitel with a numbered Golden Badge and a Certificate of Honour of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, which has its own number and a corresponding certificate granting the right to a lifelong 10% discount in trade union sanatoriums, hotels, and restaurants.
Sergey Dogel’s candidacy was supported at the Presidium of the Federation of Trade Unions. At the II Plenum of the regional trade unions, he was unanimously elected the new chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Trade Union Association.
The Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Nikolay Sherstnev thanked Ivan Vozmitel for his work as the head of the regional trade union association. He urged his successor, Sergey Dogel, to bring new impetus to the organization's work, to initiate new ideas in order to elevate the status of trade unions and make their role in society more significant.
