Construction work is underway on the Serguch Canal, one of the elements of the Berezina Water System. The work was initiated last November by hydro-builders from the subsidiary unitary enterprise PMK-88 from the city of Vileyka. The project is titled "Restoration of the hydrological network and hydrological regime of the Berezina Water System on the section from the Berezina River to the village of Kvetcha". The Serguch Canal is being reconstructed, a long-held dream of local history enthusiasts and scientists of all levels. The canal's launch is planned in three stages. Currently, the lock-bridge on the Domzheritsy - Kvetcha road is being reconstructed.
The work will be completed in three months.
