Catering establishments, retail outlets, and consumer services enterprises have already begun preparations for the upcoming holidays. Shop windows are gradually transforming, replacing autumn decorations with New Year's attire, while the businesses themselves are preparing to impress customers with an abundance and variety of goods. Some are devising their unique features. For instance, in Polotsk, major retail outlets are planned to be equipped with themed photo zones.
Extensive preparations will unfold in the coming days, and within two weeks, the region will see the commencement of large-scale exhibitions and sales, discount sales, food product tastings, and promotional campaigns timed for the main winter celebrations. Weekend fairs featuring agricultural producers, industrial enterprises, trade, and catering services will be held in the region from December 15. Christmas tree markets at permanent retail locations will open this year from December 22. From the same date until January 7, many shops and catering establishments will extend their operating hours for customer convenience.
