“With a Kind Heart – To School”
An event under this title brought together all the pupils of Secondary School No. 3 who wished to help children from large, single-parent, and foster families, as well as children with disabilities. The event was organised by the district committee of the NGO "BRSM".
The school had been informed about the event in advance. During the break, after the second lesson, music played in the school foyer. It was pleasant to see how young children and older pupils hurried to the activists of the "BRSM" district organisation to share their own belongings. Mostly, pupils brought stationery: notebooks, pens, pencils, notepads, coloured paper, etc.
All items collected as part of the event will be distributed among pupils of Secondary School No. 3 who need assistance, as well as children who are left without parental care and are being raised in the social-pedagogical centre.
“Autumn Sundress”
How to sew a dress from household items and decorate it with fruits and vegetables? The answer to this question is known by the young beauties – pupils of Secondary School No. 3, who took part in the school competition "Autumn Sundress". According to the competition rules, the girls had to sew an original autumn sundress and parade in it.
Both younger pupils and older students wished to participate in the event. Many spectators gathered in the school's assembly hall to watch this bright spectacle. A parade of beauty, skill, imagination, and inspiration was formed. What wonderful creations were there! The young contestants prepared outfits from vegetables, autumn berries, plastic items, and unnecessary household items, including… plastic bags.
Each of the contestants impressed the audience with her uniqueness. According to the jury, the most original sundresses were those of fourth-grade pupil Dasha Lebedeva, Liza Tarasova (fifth grade "A"), ninth-grade pupil Kristina Azaronok, and Yulia Pomaleyko (eleventh grade "A"). The audience's favourite prize was awarded to the autumn outfit of fifth-grade pupil Olga Chernysh, who decorated her dress with jar lids.
Each of the young participants received a Certificate of Honour. The most important reward for the contestants was the positive emotions and vivid impressions of the delighted spectators.
