Healthy Summer – Fruitful Autumn

 Pupils had a good rest in the summer. The health improvement camp "Summer-2013" operated here, where twenty-seven children spent their time in an interesting and productive way. Special attention was paid to the health improvement of children from large, low-income, and troubled families. There are five low-income families at the school, and two pupils with psychophysical development peculiarities.

 The camp operated according to the "Healthy Summer" program. They travelled a lot – to the district local history museum in Lepel, to the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve, visited the stone with a footprint, and provided patronage assistance.

  A Pumpkin Money Box

 As the folk saying goes: "Bohach has arrived – put away your sickle, take your seeds, and sow them slowly." At the district festival "Bohach," held within the framework of City Day, the school pupils presented a panel of live flowers "A Stork Soars Over the Motherland – Over My Native Lepel," which took first place. They also showcased costumes made from unconventional materials – plastic bags, and an unusual pumpkin money box.

  Sports Week

 The first subject week at school was dedicated to physical culture and sports. A sports competition was held, in which two mixed-age teams of pupils participated. A quiz "Sporting Belarus" was conducted among pupils of grades 5-9. Sixth-graders took part in a "Brain Ring." The younger schoolchildren were offered the "Jump Rope Champion" competition. Sports clubs for general physical training and sports games are operating at the school.

  You Can Choose

 Pupils can choose a club according to their taste and abilities. The "Handicrafter" and "Fantasy" clubs are working productively at the school. The soft toys made by the participants of "Handicrafter" took first place in the regional charity event "For a Good Memory." The crafts made by children from "Fantasy" won at the district stage of the republican review-competition of children's creativity "Hello, World!". For the first time this year, classes of the "White Rook" club were organized under the leadership of Maria Semenovskaya. Last year, a pupil of the school, Eduard Kovgan, took second place in the district chess championship. The "Magic Patchwork" club from the district center for children and youth is also operating.
