Youth Chooses Health
As part of the healthy lifestyle month, the school participated in the district competition "Youth for a Healthy Lifestyle". Propaganda leaflets "Being Healthy is Cool", prepared by ninth-graders Zlata Bogdanova and Polina Salnik, won first place in the competition. Competitions are also announced: "Choose Life" – for the best poetic work on the harm of smoking, alcohol and drugs, and "Cherish Your Health" – for the best script promoting a healthy lifestyle. A multimedia presentation and a video competition "Health is Our Choice" will showcase the school's system for fostering the foundations of a healthy lifestyle.
Let's Stop Misfortune Together!
To participate in the district campaign "Let's Stop Misfortune Together", dedicated to World AIDS Day, the school prepared a thematic programme. An informational wall newspaper on the relevant topic was published about the participation of eighth, tenth and eleventh-graders Daria Nikitina, Valeria Dubko, Alexander Stankevich, and under the guidance of the organiser-teacher. Interesting information was prepared for the city competition of thematic disco programmes "Red Ribbon – Symbol of Hope".
Parental Saturdays
Parental Saturdays are held in an interesting and meaningful way. Recently, there was an initiation ceremony for fifth-graders – with songs, various games, and a presentation. The festival "For Road Safety" was held with competitions for essays, drawings, and poetic works. The school's propaganda team performed on the topic of preventing road traffic injuries. Children solved traffic rule test questions and held bicycle riding competitions.
Veterans Congratulated
Pupils joined in congratulating the "Veteran" club on its twenty-fifth anniversary, especially since one of the club's members is the former school teacher Galina Petrovna Sergeeva. They baked pies and translated a congratulatory song for the veterans.
The tradition of honouring veterans at the school has taken firm root. Recently, on the occasion of jubilees, former teachers Alla Yakovlevna Korotkevich, Lyudmila Ivanovna Syazyoma, Svetlana Nikolaevna Klyatkova, and Anna Kleofasovna Gaikovich were congratulated. Other veterans living in the school's microdistrict are also honoured. For example, young traffic inspectors congratulated the traffic police officer Vladimir Nikolaevich Matolyats with his jubilee.
