Football Theory

Once again, the school is number one! This time, the team won the republican review-competition for the best organisation of physical culture and health-improvement events promoting football and the comprehensive physical culture and sports event “Football Lessons”. Deputy Director Dzyana Mysina and Physical Education and Health Teacher Viktor Mashushenka submitted a generalisation of the school's "Football Hour" classes experience to the competition. The jury, which included the Minister of Education, highly appreciated the work.

Emblem Recognised as Best!

Following the results at the Representation of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus in the Vitebsk Region, the school was recognised as the winner in two nominations: “Plant a Tree in Honour of an Olympic medallist” and “Interactive Competition for the Best Emblem of Young Olympians”. Through interactive voting on the NOC website, the best emblem was determined to be the one designed by 11th-grade student Oleg Mysin. The school team received a clock, a vase, and a corresponding certificate as a reward. The author of the emblem was awarded a special prize.

Teachers' Creativity

The book “Reading as a Humanistic Activity” was published in St. Petersburg by “Spetsialnaya Literatura” publishing house. The publication was carried out within the framework of the international scientific and educational project “Literary Creativity in the System of Socio-Cultural Personality Development”. The book includes an article by primary school teacher Alena Yaroslavtseva, “Class Hour ‘Friendship Must Be Cherished’” based on L. Dumtseva’s short story “To Each His Own Happiness,” in the section “Methodological Developments on Works by Modern Writers.” In the second section, “Reading as a Means of Forming the Moral Culture of an Individual,” the work of school principal Viktor Azaronak, “The Role of Reading in Shaping the Value Orientations of Children Aged 7-12,” is presented.

Young Olympians

The regional event "Olympic Days at the Health Camp" has taken place. The project of the school club of young Olympians "Forward to Olympic Heights!" received the first prize. In the club, children get acquainted with Olympians from Belarus and the Vitebsk region. Events are held. One of these was organized in support of Olympians. Sports events are held – mini Olympic Games, competitions in football, volleyball, basketball – quizzes, contests on Olympic themes. The school took first place in the district competitions in football, basketball, and pre-conscription training. A flash mob is being prepared in support of our Olympians in Sochi.

A Caring Heart

The school took part in the "Olympic Heart" campaign, organized by the NOC Representation in the Vitebsk region. During the campaign, gifts were collected for children from the Andreevsky orphanage in Orsha. Gifts were also collected for local children from low-income and troubled families.
