"Ceremonial events dedicated to Knowledge Day, including meetings with class teachers and assemblies, will take place on August 31 and September 1. The first lesson will be dedicated to the Year of Small Motherland and will be titled 'I am fortunate to be born here…'," the ministry representative said.
According to him, methodological recommendations for conducting the first lesson will be posted on the Internet portal of the Ministry of Education in the near future and published in "Nastaўnickaja gazeta".
Eduard Tomilchik added that representatives of sponsor enterprises, public associations, Belarusian writers, prominent graduates of educational institutions, distinguished public and state figures, and media personalities will be invited to the events.
It is planned for the heads of republican state administration bodies to participate in the ceremonial events at schools in their small motherland.
