BRSM volunteers are reaching out to people of the silver age to help them clear streets and yards of snow.
Lepel activists have also not remained indifferent to this noble cause. Proactive young people are providing assistance to war and labour veterans, as well as lonely and elderly people living alone. Volunteers are carrying out work brigades to clear snow from adjacent territories and are helping grandmothers and grandfathers with everyday tasks.
For instance, activists from the "Kind Heart" squad of the Agrarian and Technical College, under the guidance of educator-organizer Svetlana Stelmakh and the first secretary of the RK BRSM, Ekaterina Baranovskaya, visited Emilia Danilova today. Emilia Mechislavovna is a labour veteran of the college, having worked there for over 20 years.
— It is so good that young people are coming to help and do not forget about veterans. May God grant all the young people good health and may their hearts always remain as kind, — noted Emilia Mechislavovna.
By the way, such BRSM initiatives during the winter period have become a good tradition.
Heavy January snowfalls have launched the republican campaign "Relay of Kindness".
