This was announced to journalists today by the State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, Leonid Maltsev, reports BELTA correspondent. According to Leonid Maltsev, the measures taken to protect the population from price increases have caused another problem, which is related to the fact that prices for socially significant goods in neighboring countries are higher. "Certain unscrupulous people are trying to profit from these problems. Therefore, a system of measures to protect the consumer market, including from the unjustified export of goods abroad, is currently being developed. Without a doubt, this system of measures will be worked out in the near future and will operate clearly," said the State Secretary of the Security Council. Leonid Maltsev noted that problems should not be a cause for various kinds of insinuations and rocking the boat. "They should not be a reason for individuals to try to solve some issues of their well-being by exploiting these problems," he stressed. The State Secretary of the Security Council also clarified that the planned measures will be temporary, and expressed confidence that the situation in all directions will be stabilized. First of all, economic measures are meant. "It is unequivocal that the consumer market will be protected. And it is also unequivocal that the degree of protection and the degree of effectiveness of the measures will correspond to the situation that is developing. The system will change depending on the changes in the market situation," said Leonid Maltsev.
