An excursion and animation trail based on the fairy tales of Vladimir Dubovka will appear in the "Ozerki" sports and tourist complex in Postavy district, the state association "Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of Postavy District" informed a BELTA correspondent.
The complex's infrastructure has been significantly transformed: a rope park and a climbing wall have been added for active recreation enthusiasts (a beach and playgrounds, as well as a campsite area will be equipped by summer), a tavern is operating, and there is a large stage. The animation programs are also quite diverse and will soon be supplemented by the fascinating route "Kazachnaya stsezhka Dubouki". The trail's construction has already begun: wooden bridges are being built, sculptures are being carved, the main one being a sculptural composition of Ded Bay with a chest full of fairy tales, surrounded by forest animals.
"The lyrical poet, author of wonderful fairy tales, Vladimir Dubovka, was born in our region. His mother and grandfather used to tell him these tales. That's why we wanted his characters to literally 'take root' in his homeland. We will build a house for Ded Bay (he is the collector of tales from "Chudovnaya znakhodka"), as well as for Baba Yaga – she and other characters will meet guests on the future, approximately half-kilometer long, trail. There will also be a bridge of wishes, a magic well, and much more along the way. We are working on the script," explained Nataliya Kornilova, an instructor-methodologist for tourism at the association "Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of Postavy District".
Meanwhile, visitors can already meet the revived characters from Dubovka's fairy tales at the "Ozerki" complex by attending the New Year's entertainment program "Karagod kazak Postauskaga Paazerya". It is planned that they will also be the heroes of Maslenitsa festivities, other entertainment programs, and over time will become a kind of calling card of the district. "We have already come up with an invitation slogan - 'In the generous land of Postavy, there is the estate of Ded Bay. We invite you, please, to the forest by the lake, into a fairy tale!'" added Nataliya Kornilova.
