At the Babrovskaya school, compiling family trees has become a good tradition. The first family tree, compiled by a former student, Sergey Shevchenko, was recognized as the best not only in the district but also in the region and the republic. Tenth-grader Darya Zharnasek also researched her family tree. Her work was recognized as the best in the district and took third place in the region. The students engage in local history and work on family trees under the guidance of Nadezhda Khavanskaya, a teacher of Belarusian language and literature.
