From December 5, a competition for the best New Year's decoration of administrative buildings will start in the district. Participation in this competition requires a comprehensive approach, including the decoration of the entrance area, stained glass windows, window openings, facade, adjacent territory, and the installation of festive illumination (light installations, backlighting). The installation and decoration of live or artificial New Year trees of various configurations, as well as the placement of ice and snow sculptures, towns, slides, and fairy-tale characters on the organization's territory (subject to appropriate weather conditions), and the decoration of visitor halls are encouraged. One of the conditions is the clearing of sidewalks and pedestrian paths from snow and ice (if necessary).
Memorable will be the competitions for the best New Year's transport (any type: car, motorcycle, horse-drawn, sports, and others) and the best Ded Moroz and Snegurochka, which will take place as part of the Ded Moroz and Snegurochka procession and the grand opening of the New Year tree on Freedom Square in Lepel on December 23, 2022.
