21 August, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. In the coming 24 hours, on 22 August, Belarus will be cloudy with clear spells, BELTA was informed at the Republican Hydrometeorological Centre.
At night, short-term rains and thunderstorms are expected in places in Grodno and Brest regions, and in the morning and afternoon across most of the country. During the daytime, heavy downpours and hail are forecast in places in the west of Belarus. South wind, 5-10 metres per second; during the day, in some areas with thunderstorms, squally wind gusts of up to 15-20 metres per second are expected.
Air temperature at night will range from plus 3 degrees in the northeast of the country to plus 17 degrees in the southwest. During the day, it will be 20-26 degrees Celsius; in the southwestern regions, the air will warm up to 27-29 degrees.
The Republican Hydrometeorological Centre warns of adverse weather phenomena. On the night of 22 August, weak ground frosts of zero to minus 1 degree Celsius are expected in places in the east of Vitebsk and Mogilev regions.
