The grand closing ceremony of the XXVI International Arts Festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will take place today at the Summer Amphitheatre, reports BELTA.
The main event of the day will be the grand gala concert closing the forum, featuring many headliners of the entire festival, prominent performers and groups, as well as new guests: Valery Meladze, Tatiana Bulanova, Gleb Matveychuk, Soso Pavliashvili, Egor Kreed, Dimash Kudaibergen, and many others. The winners of the international pop song competition and recipients of special prizes will also be awarded.
A little earlier in the evening, several festival venues are expecting full houses. Tickets for the solo concert of the audience's favourite, Valery Meladze, at the Summer Amphitheatre were among the first to be sold out. Theatre posters also promise intrigue: a production of Shakespeare's famous tragedy "Macbeth" by the Moscow Theatre on the South-West, and the drama "Men's Fragrance" by the company "Maskarad".
Also, several children's performances will take place at the "Puppet Quarter" and shows by street dancers, musicians, and fire artists – participants of the "On Seven Winds" festival – will be held as part of the closing events.
Additional events of the XXVI International Arts Festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will continue until July 19. Egor Kreed's solo concert will also take place at the festival's main venue. Programmes by the groups "Ruki Vverh" and "Splean", and the gala concert "Chanson TV - All Stars" are scheduled.
