In Senno, it has become a good tradition to hold a run in autumn dedicated to the memory of Pyotr Mironovich Masherov, a native of Sennenshchina, Hero of the Soviet Union, Hero of Socialist Labour.

The current mass start took place on September 30 and gathered more than 600 participants from Polotsk, Novopolotsk, Beshenkovichi, Chashniki District, and Mogilev in the central square of the city. Teams of enterprises and organizations of the district centre represented Senno. Investigators of the Sennensky District Department of the Investigative Committee also took an active part in the run. Moreover, according to the results of the run, they managed to take prize-winning places in a number of nominations.

Thus, first places in the 1 km distance among women in the age group 30-39 years were taken by investigator Tatyana Avsyanko, and in the 1 km distance among men aged 30-45 years – by deputy head Alexander Vasiliev. In the 5 km distance, the head of the District Department of the Investigative Committee Alexander Mizavtsov won silver. His son Ivan also managed to receive a similar award in the age group up to 7 years.

The celebration, which gave all participants a good mood, will also be remembered by the winners with diplomas and pennants, which were presented to them upon completion of the marathon, added Svetlana Sakharova.
