The next stop on the New Year's greetings route for Veronika Khombak and Viktor Azaryonok was the nursing home in the agro-town of Sloboda.

Today, 18 people are receiving care, treatment, and attention at the social institution. As part of the "From the Bottom of Our Hearts" campaign, gifts were also presented to each of them, along with heartfelt words of congratulations.

The Republican New Year's Charity Campaign "From the Bottom of Our Hearts" was first held three years ago and clearly demonstrated its importance and significance.

Belarus is a social state, and care for children and the elderly is one of its key indicators. Being close to the elderly, giving them warmth on the eve of such bright holidays as New Year and Christmas – this is an initiative of the Head of State, which has already become a good tradition, – noted Viktor Azaryonok.

Our goal is not only to give a holiday but also to create a basis for continuous support for the elderly. The campaign is aimed at consolidating society, – added Veronika Khombak.
